Supporting Constellations means contributing to the creation of new, inclusive residential centres. This means your help increases opportunities for people with mental disabilities. This will enable them to lead rich and fulfilling lives.
Between 2008 and 2027, Constellations will have opened 14 houses with around 410 places. (197 places have opened ,47 are in construction and 166 are being created.) These new places are either opened by Constellations itself or by Constellations, through a partnership with another association. All these places provide the equivalent of 20% of the existing places in the Brussels region.
Some details :
The running of the centres requires professional support, offering new job opportunities to a large number of people, for example young graduates.
All our centres offer a wide diversity of accommodation. Constellations' first concern has been to offer solutions to the most urgent problems we were confronted with, particularly the lack of places for young adults . We have also developed places for people with specific requests:
The seven centres that are already operational work perfectly, are autonomous and running costs are provided funded through the regional authorities.
Il Today, we find ourselves in an unprecedented situation. This is the first time that we are undertaking so many projects. The international situation and the resulting inflation have made the challenge even more difficult. We need your support more than ever!

On April 8, 2024, Constellations' grand annual theater gala, under the High Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Paola, brought together numerous dignitaries, including Mr. Vervoort, Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region.
This evening was dedicated to the Anémones, CREB, and the Forestière, whom we assist in facing the rising construction costs. The proceeds from the event will contribute to the €300,000 to be disbursed at our 2025 event.
Good news was shared, including the upcoming opening of the new Anémones house and the obtaining of the building permit for the CREB projects, and soon, for that of La Forestière.
The highlight was the presentation of a €300,000 check to the Anémones nonprofit organization for the construction of a new house.
The play "Les Palmes de Monsieur Schutz" entertained us greatly while addressing serious topics. A film on dual diagnosis was screened before the speeches.
The evening was a great success, thanks to everyone for your support.
Launch of our 14th project. Here's ATIPI!
This inclusive project will be a day centre welcoming 20 young adults with intellectual disabilities. It will be located in the former deconsecrated chapel, Our
Lady Queen of Heaven, in Watermael-Boitsfort. It benefits from a beautiful garden of 26 ares housing several vegetable gardens arranged in collaboration with the local residents.
To be continued...
We have just obtained planning permission for the CREB after a year and a half of fierce battles. This is excellent news!
